The New York Post reports and the NC GOP informs its e-mail list that John Edwards is courting the Hollywood vote. North Carolina Republicans have been improving their communications and their e-mails are generally informative and have a sense of humor. A big change from the traditional hack writing of political press releases. An excerpt:
Failing to earn the trust and support of "mainstream North Carolinians," Sen. John "Hollywood" Edwards has turned his attention to the "regular people" of Hollywood - the big-money agents who represent the stars, that is....
The most recent poll of "regular" North Carolinians shows a 39% approval rating for Edwards (Elon University poll, 2/21/03). However, no current polling of Hollywood moguls and stars is available on Edwards.
That's priceless. Kudos to Jonathan Jordan, the state parties' communications director, for keeping tabs on Senator Johnny.
