SADDAM LIVES

Saddam did look like hell in his television appearance early this morning, but that's all the more reason to believe it is actually him. If you were going to tape something in advance to use after your death to inspire your people, I think you'd look a little more awake, and would have remembered to hit the moustache with the Clairol for Men. The picture we saw was not the picture of neo-Arab machismo, or, as Jonah Goldberg described it, "Reading from that pad he looks like an old man trying to figure out why the deli raised the price on the chicken noodle soup."
