That's right, the unilateral coalition with which the U.S. "stands virtually alone" is up to 44 nations. As the State Department reports:

All Coalition member nations understand the threat Saddam Hussein's weapons pose to the world and the devastation his regime has wreaked on the Iraqi people.

The population of Coalition countries is approximately 1.18 billion people.
Coalition countries have a combined GDP of approximately $21.7 trillion.
Every major race, religion, ethnicity in the world is represented.
The Coalition includes nations from every continent on the globe.

It is a shame that fat and happy nations like France and Germany can't remember the terror of European tyrants, and the Russian leader used to rub shoulders with tyrants, so his view is clouded. I'm planning my next oversees trips based on this list of countries. Ah, Iceland.
