NO MORE SELMAS
President George W. Bush and National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice snuck away from much of the White House staff and secret service protection, donned baseball caps and rode down the road without benefit of motorcade.

The president said that he and Condi looked like "a normal couple." A white man and a black woman -- described by a Republican as a "normal couple."

It's the 21st century. Remember this the next time Jesse Jackson bleats on about some perceived slight being like another Selma. And when the press calls Republican outreach to minority voters nothing nothing but a political ploy, you'll know that it reflects Bush's real worldview.
