So, Gaddafi saw the writing on the wall. Let's see, days before the invasion of Iraq, he contacts the Brits about opening negotiations with Britain and the US. Just days after we dig Hussein out of a hole he capitulates. Coincidence? I think not. Even good old Hans Blix said Gaddafi was scared by what he saw in Iraq. Why didn't Gaddafi go to the omnipotent UN? Because he's not afraid of the UN, that's why. And I love this, Kerry said this was an example of the success of mutilateralism. So, in this case the US and Britain are a multilateral coalition, but their lead to enforce UN resolutions regarding Iraq that has the backing of 60 nations is unilateral. I just don't get it.
