Winston---Do Deficits Matter?

No whining about the Dems, o.k.? That tired old excuse does not play well when you have the White House, Senate ande House of Reprehensibles. The spending increases are way out of line.....yes? Tell me they aren't. Even as the upper income families get tax-cuts, unemployment benefits are not extended. This Republican group isn't the party of the wealthy? Give me a break. Even excluding Homeland Defense and (questionable) Defense spending -- don't get me started on the Boeing welfare that McCain is targeting (God Bless his Republican soul -- if there is such a thing), the spending in this administration is out of control by any Clintonian standards. Only his Dad and Reagan were bigger spenders. The last two farm bills are political disgraces and the Medicare bill (which, in fairness was opposed by fiscal conservatives) is a huge future budget busters. WAY over the $400 billion estimated. The notion that W. is at all fiscally conservative has no basis in fact. Again - both houses and the White House are Republican.. For shame, you hypocrite Republicans. Either start th engines on the argument that the deificit does not matter or gt your priorities in line politically. The past suggests you will do neithe
