..So you want to neuter government to powerlessness? Emasculate enforcement and make a mockery of laws?
And do you really think Donovan magnify is over-rated because of this one slow start? Were you watching the last 3 years....I know you know an Eagles fan Winston......
There were 7 black QBs starting last week - Vick and Culpepper were out with injury. The black-QB-liberal-conspiracy-s**t is a tired, thin old veil for passive racist assumptions. Pity the right can't figure when to cut ties with idiots any better than the crazy left can.
IT AIN'T CENSORSHIP IF IT IS THE MARKETPLACE, IT IS IF IT IS GOVERNMENTAnd even government action by the pressure of the bully pulpit is censorship. It is a threat by the power of the government. That's what happened to the radio jock that Hank discusses below. That's not what happened to the Dixie Chicks, Tim Robbins (what chill wind? he won't shut up) and Susan Sarandon. That's not what happened to Rush Limbaugh, who was steamrolled by a willing media that refused to even address the issue he raised and instead just said "you cannot discuss race in America". The radio jock was attacked by government officials who said he should be fired. Rush wasn't (although he was attacked by Democrat candidates Edwards and the Generalissimo we said he should be fired -- fine example for folks claiming that Ashcroft is ripping away your freedoms).
And by the way, Rush was wrong, but he wasn't "racist." McNabb isn't overrated because he is black, but because he's a nice guy and that's why the media want to see him succeed.
Can A Defense of Limbaugh Be Far Behind?Did the government fire this Bob Lonsberry? No. The radio station made a financial decision. Conservatives will have to at some point accept that their comments may put them in hot water for a while. Sean Penn and Susan Sarandon and Tim Roberts learned this the hard way. (But not the Dixie Chix - they played to sold out houses all through the controversy and sold lots of records) So just as this talk show host starts to get the picture that his comments will effect his pocketbook, out of the wood-work come these laughable rants about liberal censorship. What chance to intellectually-honest conservatives have to differentiate between legit and whacko comments if the knee-jerk reaction of the right is always to cry about the "liberal censors"?
LIBERAL CENSORSHIP, PART II

After various government officials demanded his termination, conservative radio show host Bob Lonsberry was, in fact, fired.
According to the radio station's press release: “WHAM-AM fired on-air personality Bob Lonsberry for inappropriate behavior,” the statement reads. “After Mr. Lonsberry made inappropriate comments on the air, he convinced us that he was willing to face his mistakes and learn from his behavior. Although Mr. Lonsberry expressed a willingness to change, it became obvious to us that he is not embracing diversity...
Ah, yes, the ultimate liberal crime: thought crime..."the failure to embrace diversity."
Still waiting for the ACLU, the supporters of the Dixie Chicks, the defenders of Bill Maher and the rest of the crowd that claims to worship free speech to come to Lonsberry's aid....
