STOP THE PRESSES - 'CAUSE THEY'RE LIBERAL
The press is liberal, so says a new survey by The Pew Research Center. Despite ownership by the big corporations, the people who actually write and report the news and select what gets reported and what doesn't (think the defeat of Sadr's militias) identify themselves as more liberal than the average population. But as Jay Reding points out, despite their self identification, more are shown to be liberal by their answers to specific questions about God, homosexualtiy and the role of government in our lives.
