GOVERNMENT BY COMMISSION
If it is imperative that the Admnistration and Congress act immediately to enact the reforms proposed by the 9/11 Commission, without independent analysis (as John Kerry and the Commission propose), why don't we just set up bipartisan commissions for every problem and automatically enact any unanimous recommendations they have? Then, we can cut out the middle men, Congress and the White House, and just let Commissions run everything. We could dispense with this whole election thing we keep doing.
