THE RACE SHIFTS
Stuart Eugene Thiel (aka Professor Pollkatz) has been doing the thankless job of tracking Bush's approval numbers for several years now. He compiles a Job Approval Index taken from all of the recent numbers. For the first time since April, he has Bush exceeding the 50% mark.

Also, recent national and state polling are showing significant shifts in Bush's favor. I'll update the election simulation this afternoon to reflect the latest numbers.
